What’s included when we book 1858 Heritage Accommodation?

All stays include the exclusive use of the self-contained farmhouse, two complimentary bottles of Gumpara Wine, South Australian fine chocolates , linen and towels, free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, Nespresso coffee, local tea, olive oil, butter, milk and more.

Is 1858 Heritage Accommodation serviced daily?

No. 1858 Heritage Accommodation is cleaned on arrival, stocked with adequate provisions for your entire stay, and then cleaned again after your departure. 

For longer stays, we are happy to service the farmhouse for an added fee.

What is the check-in procedure?

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is at 11.30 am. You will be sent an email with self check-in details when you make your reservation. An SMS will be sent to the person who booked within 7 days on the day of your stay, re-confirming the self check-in details of key code.

Can I check-in earlier than 2pm?

Yes, we can accommodate early arrivals.

Can I drop off my luggage prior to 2pm?

Yes, we can store your luggage in the house if you need to. ,

Is there internet access and mobile phone coverage?

We supply free Wi-Fi for all our guests with mobile phone coverage.

Can I smoke on the property or in the Cottages?

There is a no smoking policy inside 1858 Heritage Accommodation.

Can I hire a bike to get around?

Bike hire is available at the Barossa Visitors Centre and through Barossa Bike Hire who offer a drop off and pick up service.

Can you recommend a tour company?

Yes we certainly can recommend some great local tour operators to help make your Barossa experience memorable. Please contact us direct so we can assist with your needs. We can also recommend some great café’s, restaurants and cellar doors.

Will I need a car to get around?

1858 Barossa Accommodation is not just about somewhere perfectly comfortable to rest your head. Our location offers a great base to explore the region. And as 1858 Barossa Accommodation is set in a private, rural location you will need a car during your stay.
